Issue: On certain buses, the brake lines for the rear wheels may not have been connected to the antilock braking system (ABS) control module properly. As a result, the ABS and stability control may not work correctly. Note: This recall only affects certain buses built on a Chevrolet chassis. Safety Risk: An antilock braking system that doesn't work correctly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: ARBOC will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to reroute and reconnect the rear brake lines correctly.

On certain buses equipped with Freedman GO-ES Foldaway Seats, a weld on the seat-back frames may not be adequate. In the event of a crash, the seat occupant(s) may not be properly restrained, which could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Owners are advised to contact the Freedman Seating Company (FSC) at 1-800-443-4540, to get information about proper inspection procedures. Should a seat not pass the inspection, FSC will provide a repair kit and instructions for its installation.

On certain vehicles, the exterior electrical connections to the side marker lights were not weatherized properly. This could cause these connections to ground against the body and/or frame of the vehicle, which could blow a fuse and increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will install heat shrink tubing to repair the wiring.

Certain vehicles may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 205 - Glazing Materials. Driver side transition windows may not comply with the requirements of the standard. Non-complying glass could break into shards instead of shattering, which could result in injury. Correction: Dealers will replace windows with ones that comply with CMVSS 205.

On certain vehicles, the fuel extension harness may contain an undersized wire to the fuel pump supply circuit, which could cause a deformation at the connector and a loss of voltage, possibly causing the fuel pump not to operate. This could result in the engine stalling, causing a loss of motive power and increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the harness.

On certain vehicles, rear clearance and identification lamp wiring may corrode. This could result in an electrical short, increasing the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Arboc will supply instructions and materials required to repair affected wiring harnesses.
- Seats And Restraints#2013003

On certain buses, the passenger seat base reinforcement plates may have been inadvertently omitted during vehicle assembly. As such, the seat anchorage could fail during a vehicle crash, which could increase the risk of personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install a reinforcement plate onto each passenger seat.
