  • Electrical#2025116

    18 units affected

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the sofa footrest switch may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, if the footrest switch is held down for too long, the wiring for the switch could overheat and melt. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats or melts could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Airstream advises not to use the footrest switch until the recall repairs have been completed. Airstream will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to install a reverse relay on the sofa footrest switch.
