Specifically, certain labels on the affected booster seats and certain sections in the instruction manual indicate a minimum height of 40 inches (102 cm), while others indicate a minimum height of 42 inches (107 cm). In addition, there are some translation errors between the English and French manuals. Correction: 5514 KM Corporation will contact all registered owners with instructions on how to obtain the corrected labels and manuals. Note: The correct minimum height for these seats is 42 inches (107 cm).

Certain child car seats may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 213 - Child Restraint Systems. During testing, the seat structure surrounding the top tether strap failed, allowing the top tether to separate from the seat. As a result, in the event of a severe collision, the overall structure of the child seat could be affected and the child occupant may not remain properly secured, thereby increasing the risk of injury. Correction: All registered owners will receive instructions on how to obtain a replacement seat.
