  Problème : Le module de distribution électrique (PDM) monté à l'arrière de certaines autocaravanes construites sur un châssis Freightliner XBS pourrait être défectueux. En effet, les feux arrière pourraient ne pas fonctionner correctement. Remarque : Le présent rappel est un prolongement du rappel 2018-596. Les véhicules qui ont fait l'objet d'une inspection, mais dont le PDM n'a pas été remplacé lors du rappel précédent, nécessitent une deuxième réparation dans le cadre du présent rappel. Risque pour la sécurité : Des feux de freinage ou des clignotants qui ne fonctionnent pas peuvent faire en sorte que le conducteur suivant ne se rende pas compte que le véhicule qui le précède freine ou a l'intention d'effectuer un virage. Cela pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Thor Motor Coach avisera les propriétaires par la poste et leur demandera d'amener leur autocaravane à un centre de service autorisé de Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) pour remplacer le module de distribution électrique.

  Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2017-2020 Aria, Venetian and Tuscany, 2017 Tuscany XTE and 2017-2019 Palazzo motorhomes vehicles that received an inspection-only remedy for recall 18V-763. The rear mounted Power Distribution Module (PDM) may have been damaged during manufacturing, possibly resulting in the rear marker lights, brake lights, or turn signals not functioning.

  Risque: Non-functioning exterior marker lights can increase the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: TMC will notify owners, and Daimler Trucks dealers will replace the PDM, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed October 6, 2021. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000196.

  Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2014-2017 Tuscany XTE (models 34ST, 36MQ, 40AX, 40BX, 40EX and 40GQ), 2013-2018 Tuscany (models 38SQ, 40DX, 40KQ, 40RX, 42GX, 42HQ, 42WX, 44MT 45AT and 45LT) and 2016-2020 Venetian (models A40, B42, F42, G36, J40, L40, M37, R40, S40, and T42) motorhomes. The rear reflectors within the taillight lens may be too high, reducing the vehicle's visibility. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

  Risque: The incorrectly positioned reflectors may make the motorhome less visible to others on the road, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2017 Tuscany XTE and 2017-2019 Venetian, Aria, Tuscany, and Palazzo motorhomes built on Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation chassis. The Power Distribution Module (PDM) may have been damaged during manufacturing, possibly resulting in the rear marker lights, brake lights, or turn signals not functioning.

  Risque: Nonfunctioning lights can increase the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: The remedy for this recall is still under development. Daimler Trucks North America, the manufacturer of the chassis began issuing owners an interim notification on October 24, 2018, and will send a second notification when parts become available.   Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2011-2017 Thor Tuscany and Venetian motorhomes, built on Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) chassis. The power steering hose on the affected vehicles may be routed incorrectly, and, as a result, the hose may rub against the power stud on the starter motor, possibly causing electrical arcing and a power steering fluid leak.

  Risque: Electrical arcing in the presence of leaking power steering fluid can increase the risk of a fire.

  Correctif: FCCC has notified owners, and FCCC dealers will reroute the power steering hose to provide proper clearance, free of charge. The recall began on May 1, 2018.   Thor Motor Coach (Thor) is recalling various 2003-2018 recreational vehicles, equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.   Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Challenger, Axis, Chateau, Four Winds, Hurricane, Miramar, Palazzo, Tuscany, Vegas, Venetian, and Windsport motorhomes. The cargo carrying capacity (CCC) label on these vehicles may indicate an incorrect water capacity for the water heater/fresh water tank. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Tires and Rims for Motor vehicles over 10,000lbs."

  Risque: If the water capacity information is incorrect and it causes the vehicle to be over loaded, there would be an increased risk of a crash.

  Thor Motor Coach (Thor) is recalling certain 2016-2017 Venetian and Tuscany motorhomes equipped with Cummins ISL engines. These vehicles, built on a Freightliner chassis, have a power steering hose that may be routed incorrectly, and, as a result, the hose may rub against the power stud on the starter motor, possibly causing electrical arcing and a power steering fluid leak.

  Risque: Electrical arcing in the presence of leaking power steering fluid can increase the risk of a fire.

  Correctif: Daimler Trucks (DTNA), the manufacturer of the Freightliner chassis has notified the motorhome owners, and DTNA dealers will reroute the high pressure power steering hose to provide adequate clearance from the starter stud, free of charge.   Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2017 Tuscany, Tuscany ZTE, and Venetian motorhomes manufactured March 15, 2016, to April 7, 2016. The isolator relay cable for the chassis battery was improperly installed which could cause sudden, unexpected loss of power.

  Risque: If the motorhome experiences an unexpected loss of power, it can increase the risk of a crash.
