Ces écrous ne conviennent pas à cette utilisation et peuvent se desserrer avec le temps. Si cela se produisait, l'attache-remorque pourrait se déformer ou se détacher du véhicule, augmentant ainsi les risques d'accident. Mesure corrective : Les véhicules devront être inspectés et les écrous freinés à bague de nylon devront être remplacés par des écrous freinés entièrement métalliques (style Stover).

  Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain 2010-2023 H3-45, H3-45 VIP, X3-45, X3-45 Com, and X3-45 VIP vehicles. In the event of the alternator front bearing seizing, the alternator belt may continue to operate, causing the bearing to overheat.

  Risque: An overheated alternator bearing can increase the risk of a fire.

  Correctif: Prevost will replace the alternator belt, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 30, 2022. Owners may contact Prevost customer service at 1-866-870-2046.

The actuator of the fire extinguisher system may not function properly, preventing the fire extinguisher from discharging the fire suppression agent.

  Risque: If the fire suppression system does not work as intended, it can increase the risk of injury in the event of a fire.

  Correctif: Prevost Cars will notify owners, and the fire suppression system manufacturer will inspect the systems, replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began April 15, 2019. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.   Prevost Cars, Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain 2008-2018 H3-41, H3-45, H3-45 VIP, X3-45, X3-45 VIP, X3-45 VIP Entertainer, and XL2 motor coaches. The fuel tank cradle supports may have gaps at the points where the cradle connects to the coach frame, which can allow the attachment bolts to loosen and fail causing the fuel tank to fall from the vehicle.

  Risque: If the fuel tank separates from the vehicle, it could be a road hazard and the vehicle would stall. Either scenario increases the risk of a crash.
