  Problème : Sur certains autobus scolaires, le panneau de commande du système de chauffage, ventilation et climatisation (CVC) pourrait ne pas avoir été fabriqué correctement. Par conséquent, le câblage pourrait surchauffer. Risques pour la sécurité : Un câblage qui surchauffe pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Pour réduire les risques pour la sécurité, LION recommande de suivre la dernière version de la procédure d'inspection disponible sur son site web et de ne pas utiliser l'autobus scolaire si des problèmes avec le système CVC sont identifiés. LION doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournir des instructions sur la façon de corriger le câblage du système CVC. Les propriétaires peuvent également prendre un rendez-vous pour faire faire la réparation dans un centre de service autorisé LION.

  Problème : Certains sièges d'autobus pourraient ne pas être dotés du système d'ancrage universel inférieur nécessaire pour l'installation d'un siège d'enfant. Risques pour la sécurité : Un siège d'enfant mal installé pourrait créer un risque accru de blessures en cas de collision. Mesures correctives : Le constructeur avisera par la poste les propriétaire du problème et leur enverra les pièces d'ancrage manquantes ainsi que les instructions pour les installer.

  Sur certains autobus scolaires, une conduite hydraulique de freinage pourrait s'user par frottement contre la conduite de refoulement du compresseur d’air en fils d'acier tressés (pour la suspension pneumatique). Un contact continu pourrait finir par percer la conduite hydraulique de freinage arrière, causant une fuite de liquide de freinage. Cela pourrait augmenter les distances de freinage et causer un accident, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Lion Bus avisera les opérateurs de parcs d'inspecter et, au besoin, déplacer la conduite de refoulement du compresseur d’air.

  Lion Electric Company (Lion) is recalling certain 2012-2020 Lion C and Lion 360 hybrid electric school buses. The driver's seat belt anchor may have been attached with incorrect hardware, possibly causing the seat belt to not be anchored properly.

  Risque: In the event of a crash, a seat belt that is not be properly anchored can increase the risk of injury.

  Correctif: Lion will notify owners and will replace the seatbelt hardware, free of charge . The recall began July 20, 2020. Owners may contact Lion customer service at 1-855-546-6706.

  Lion Bus Inc. (Lion Bus) is recalling certain model year 2013 and 2014 360 school buses manufactured August 30, 2012, to December 14, 2012. Adhesive may not have been applied properly to the joint between the metal ceiling panels. As such, the buses may not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 221, "School Bus Body Joint Strength."

  Risque: In the event of a crash, the metal ceiling joint may split apart, increasing the risk of injury to the passengers.

  Correctif: Lion Bus will notify owners, and dealers will install rivets to the two ceiling joints to add strength to the joints, free of charge. The recall began in November 2014. Owners may contact Lion Bus customer service at 1-855-546-6706.

  Lion Buses Inc. (Lion Bus) is recalling certain model year 2014 360 school buses manufactured August 2013 to October 2013, and equipped with IMMI-brand L9 seat belt buckles. When the button is pressed to release the seat belt, the latch plate can become partially engaged with the buckle, making the seat belt difficult to unlatch. Thus, these vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."

  Risque: If the latch plate remains partially engaged after the button is pressed, egress from the vehicle could be hindered which would increase the risk of injury in the event of an emergency.

  Correctif: Lion Bus will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the seat belt buckle, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began in June 2014. Owners may contact Lion Bus customer service at 1-855-546-6706.

  Lion Bus is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 360 school buses. The size of the letters on decals are too small, thus, these vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release".

  Risque: In the event of an emergency, occupants may not be able to read exiting directions which could result in personal injury.

  Correctif: Lion Bus will notify owners and mail them new decals and instructions, free of charge. The recall began on January 14, 2014. Owners may contact Lion Bus at 1-450-432-5466.

• VISIBILITY:REARVIEW MIRRORS/DEVICES#13V375000en anglais seulement20 août 2013

  Lion Bus is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 360 school buses. The right side mirror cannot be positioned to have the complete right side of the vehicle in view. Also, the decal explaining the use of the cross view mirrors is missing, thus, these vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 111, "Rearview Mirrors."

  Risque: The driver may not be able to see people or objects along the right side of the vehicle, increasing the risk of personal injury or a crash.

  Correctif: Lion Bus will notify owners and Lion Bus service centers correct the mirror mounting to bring the bus into compliance, free of charge. The recall began on January 6, 2014. Owners may contact Lion Bus at 1-450-432-5466. Lion Bus' recall number is C20130902.

• SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC#13V179000en anglais seulement7 mai 2013

  Lion Bus, Inc. is recalling one model year 2014 360 bus manufactured in December 2012. Due to insufficient distance between the air compressor discharge line and the hydraulic brake line, the lines may chafe against each other resulting in a hole in the brake line.

  Risque: A brake line hole could result in a loss of brake fluid. The fluid loss could lengthen the stopping distance required thus increasing the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: Lion Bus will notify the owner and an Alliance Bus representative will modify the bus to ensure that there is adequate distance between the air compressor discharge line and the hydraulic brake line. The owner was notified on May 15, 2013.
