  Problème : Sur certains véhicules, le cadre arrière pourrait rouiller à l'endroit où sont montés le réservoir de carburant et le sous-châssis arrière. Si cela se produit, le réservoir de carburant et/ou les supports du sous-châssis arrière pourraient se séparer du châssis. Le réservoir de carburant pourrait alors tomber et être endommagé, ce qui pourrait provoquer une fuite de carburant. Risques pour la sécurité : Une fuite de carburant pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Honda doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour vérifier la présence de corrosion sur le cadre arrière. Selon les résultats de l'inspection, le concessionnaire appliquera une protection contre la corrosion et installera un support ou réparera le cadre. Honda proposera de racheter les véhicules qui n'auront pas réussi l'inspection.

  Problème : Sur certains véhicules, une exposition prolongée à une humidité et à une température absolues élevées, combinée à un cycle à température élevée, pourrait éventuellement détériorer l'agent propulsif dans le coussin gonflable. Le coussin gonflable pourrait ainsi être déployé avec plus de force que la normale. Si le dispositif de gonflement se brise, des fragments pourraient être projetés vers les occupants du véhicule et endommager le coussin gonflable, ce qui l'empêcherait de fonctionner adéquatement. Remarque : Il s'agit d'une nouvelle campagne de rappel qui touche des véhicules sur lesquels un dispositif de gonflement avait été remplacé lors d'un rappel précédent ou sur lesquels un coussin gonflable de rechange avait été installé. Le rappel précédent constituait une réparation provisoire (à court terme). Les pièces de réparation provisoires doivent être remplacées par les pièces de réparation définitives fournies dans le cadre de ce rappel. Risque pour la sécurité : Si le véhicule est impliqué dans un accident nécessitant le déploiement des coussins gonflables, le dispositif de gonflement pourrait se briser et engendrer des risques de blessures.   Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2006-2014 Ridgeline vehicles that were sold, or ever registered in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin. An accumulation of road salt may cause the frame mounting surface, where the fuel tank mounting bands are attached, to corrode and possibly detach the fuel tank, which can result in a fuel leak.

  Risque: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

  Correctif: Dealers will inspect and repair the rear frame, as necessary, free of charge. Depending on the extent of any corrosion damage, Honda may offer to repurchase the vehicle.   Dorman Products, Inc. (Dorman) is recalling certain Accelerator Pedal Assemblies part numbers 699-114 and 825-5029-1, sold as replacement parts for 2003-2006 Acura MDX, 2004-2008 Acura TL and TSX, 2003-2007 Honda Accord, 2005-2006 Honda CR-V, 2007-2011 Honda Element, 2005-2008 Honda Pilot and 2006-2014 Honda Ridgeline vehicles. The rotating portion of the accelerator pedal assembly may bind. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 124, "Accelerator Control Systems."

  Risque: If the accelerator pedal binds, the engine may not quickly return to idle after the pedal is no longer pressed, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: Dorman will notify owners, and qualified service facilities will replace the affected accelerator pedal assemblies, free of charge. The recall began December 9, 2019.   HONDA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011-2012 RIDGELINE VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM AUGUST 25, 2011, THROUGH NOVEMBER 29, 2011. THE SPARE TIRE INSTALLED IN AFFECTED VEHICLES MAY NOT MATCH THE INFORMATION ON THE VEHICLE’S TIRE INFORMATION PLACARD. THEREFORE, THESE VEHICLES FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 110, “TIRE SELECTION AND RIMS FOR MOTOR VEHICLE.”

  Risque: AN INCORRECT LABEL COULD LEAD TO IMPROPER TIRE INFLATION WHICH COULD RESULT IN A TIRE FAILURE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
