  Problème : Sur certains véhicules, l'étiquette des renseignements sur les pneus et le chargement n'indique pas dans les deux langues officielles qu'il n'y a aucun pneu de rechange. L'étiquette indique « NONE » alors qu'elle devrait indiquer « NONE / AUCUN ». La réglementation canadienne exige que l'information soit inscrite en anglais et en français sur l'étiquette.   Problème : Sur certains véhicules, une exposition à long terme à une température et à un degré d'humidité absolue élevés, combinée à un cycle de température élevé, pourrait dégrader le produit propulsif contenu dans le coussin gonflable avant du passager. Cela pourrait faire en sorte que le coussin gonflable se déploie avec plus de force qu'à la normale. Si le dispositif de gonflage de coussin gonflable se brisait, des fragments pourraient être projetés vers les occupants du véhicule ou endommager le coussin gonflable, ce qui empêcherait le coussin gonflable de fonctionner adéquatement. Risques : Si le véhicule a un accident nécessitant un déploiement de coussin gonflable, le dispositif de gonflage de coussin gonflable pourrait se briser et créer un risque de blessures. Mesures correctives : Les propriétaires seront avisés par courrier d'apporter leur véhicule à un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer le module de coussin gonflable avant du passager. Note : Le climat canadien dégrade lentement le produit propulsif. On effectue le présent rappel pour éliminer les risques à venir. On s'attend à ce que les dispositifs de gonflable de coussin gonflable soient remplacés avant que leur fonctionnement ne soit affecté.

  Dans certains véhicules, les câbles se rendant jusqu'à la pompe à carburant dans le réservoir pourraient ne pas avoir été bien sertis. Si les câbles ont été mal sertis, cela pourrait augmenter la résistance dans le circuit, ce qui pourrait faire en sorte que la broche de contact fasse chauffer et fondre le plastique adjacent. Par conséquent, la pompe à carburant pourrait cesser de fonctionner, ce qui causerait un calage du moteur sans avertissement et augmenterait ainsi les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). De plus, dans de très rares cas, une fuite de carburant combinée à une source d'inflammation externe pourrait augmenter les risques de déclenchement d'un feu pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le module d'acheminement du carburant.

  Sur certains véhicules, le générateur de gaz du coussin gonflable avant du conducteur pourrait produire une pression interne excessive pendant le déploiement du coussin. Une telle pression pourrait faire en sorte que le générateur de gaz se brise, ce qui pourrait permettre la projection de fragments vers les occupants du véhicule et augmenterait ainsi les risques de blessures. Ce problème pourrait endommager le module du coussin gonflable, ce qui pourrait empêcher le déploiement adéquat du coussin. Si le coussin gonflable ne se déploie pas entièrement lors d'un accident (lors duquel son déploiement est nécessaire), cela pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures pour la personne assise sur le siège. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le générateur de gaz du coussin gonflable avant du conducteur ou le module de coussin gonflable, selon le modèle de véhicule.

These inflators may explode due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to high absolute humidity, high temperatures, and high temperature cycling.

  Risque: An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.

  Risque: An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.

The electric auxiliary water pump may fail and cause the circuit board to overheat.

  Risque: If the circuit board were to overheat, it can increase the risk of a fire.

  Correctif: BMW will notify owners, and dealers will replace the electric auxiliary water pump, free of charge. Depending on the model, there are currently limited parts available, however not all parts are available at this time. Owners will be notified of the recall beginning June 11, 2018, and will receive a second notification when remedy parts become available.   Risque: IN THE CASE OF A ROLLOVER, THE STABILITY OF THE ROOF COULD BE AFFECTED INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURIES.
