  L'écrou crénelé et la goupille fendue de l'essieu directeur sur certains véhicules pourraient ne pas avoir été serrés selon les spécifications. Ainsi, la biellette de direction pourrait se relâcher ce qui pourrait causer du bruit et/ou un desserrement de la direction. Si le véhicule est utilisé dans ces conditions, la biellette de direction pourrait se déconnecter du joint d'articulation, causant une perte totale du contrôle des roues et augmentant les risques de collision causant des blessures et/ou des dommages matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires doivent vérifier le couple des écrous crénelés et des goupilles fendues, et remplacer le goujon et le joint d'articulation au besoin.

  Dans certains véhicules, les écrous à créneaux de la tringlerie de direction pourraient ne pas avoir été serrés conformément aux spécifications. Si les écrous à créneaux se desserrent entièrement, la tringlerie de direction pourrait se séparer sans avertissement, ce qui pourrait provoquer une perte de contrôle de la direction et ainsi augmenter les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter les écrous à créneaux et, au besoin, les resserrer conformément aux spécifications.

  Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2012-2016 Xpert, 2010-2020 Xspotter, 2008-2020 Xpeditor, 2008-2010 WXLL and WX vehicles. A worn parking brake control valve can leak air into the vent line, creating excessive back pressure and causing the parking brake to release unexpectedly.

  Risque: The unexpected release of the parking brake may allow the vehicle to rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: Dealers will remove the vent line and fitting from the valve, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 23, 2023. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is ACX-2023 ACTT-2301.

• STEERING:LINKAGES:TIE ROD ASSEMBLY#17V534000en anglais seulement29 août 2017

  Autocar Industries, LLC (Autocar Industries) is recalling certain 2016 Xpert, and Xspotter vehicles, equipped with certain Dana Spicer D-Series and E-Series steer axles. The castellated nut on the steer axles may not be properly torqued, allowing the tie rod to loosen.

  Risque: If the tie rod loosens, it may disconnect from the steering knuckle, causing a complete loss of steering and increasing the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: Autocar Industries will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the torque of the castellated nut and tie rod, tightening it as necessary, free of charge.   Autocar Industries, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain model year 2015-2017 Xspotter and Xpert vehicles manufactured March 2, 2015, to September 22, 2016. The castle nuts on the steering linkage assembly may not have been tightened properly.

  Risque: If the castle nuts were not properly tightened, the cotter pin could shear and the steering linkage assembly components could separate, resulting in the loss of steering and increasing the risk of a crash.

  Correctif: Autocar will notify owners, and authorized Autocar service repair facilities will repair the vehicles, free of charge. The recall began on November 18, 2016. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is MDTT-1602.

• ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE#15V281000en anglais seulement13 mai 2015

  Autocar Industries, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Xpert and XSpotter vehicles manufactured September 24, 2013, to April 22, 2015, and equipped with certain Cummins Westport ISL G engines. Excessive engine crankcase pressures may cause the 90-degree elbow of the vent tube assembly to detach from the crankcase ventilation breather, possibly allowing engine oil to come into contact with hot surfaces.

  Risque: If engine oil comes into contact with a hot surface, there could be is an increased risk of a fire.

  Correctif: Cummins will notify owners on behalf of Autocar, and Cummins service centers will administer the repairs which include securing the ends of the 90-degree elbow and reprogramming the electronic control module (ECM) with software that can adjust the engine output under misfire conditions to limit crankcase pressures. These repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began on June 16, 2015. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-765-589-5499 or Cummins Inc. at 1-800-343-7357.
