Transport Canada recalls

01
  • Brakes#2020585

    41 units affected

Issue: On certain motorcycles, water may enter the front brake switch and cause it to fail. If this happens, the brake light will not turn on when only the front brake is applied. Additionally, applying the front brake may not cancel the cruise control setting. Note: The brake light will turn on and the cruise control can be cancelled when the rear brake is applied. Safety Risk: A brake light that does not work properly could result in road users being confused with the rider's intentions, and increase the risk of a crash. Cruise control that does not work properly could also increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Zero Motorcycles will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the front brake switch.
