Issue: On certain side-by-side UTVs, the wire harness may not have been routed correctly near the passenger footrest. As a result, the fuel tank may have been damaged during assembly, which could create a fuel leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Yamaha will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your UTV to a dealer to inspect the fuel tank. If the fuel tank is damaged, it will be replaced, and the wire harness will be re-routed.

Issue: On certain side-by-side UTVs, the upper mount brackets for the rear shocks may not be properly welded. As a result, the mount bracket could break, which could cause a sudden change in vehicle handling. Safety Risk: A sudden change in vehicle handling could cause a loss of control, and may result in a crash. Corrective Actions: Yamaha will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the rear shock upper mount brackets. If weld(s) are missing, the dealer will inspect the area for cracks and repair by welding, as necessary.
