Issue: On certain golf cars, the accelerator pedal spring could detach. If this happens, the accelerator pedal may not return when it's released, causing a vehicle runaway. Safety Risk: An accelerator pedal that doesn't return could cause a loss of control and create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Yamaha will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your golf car to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, install a new washer and circlip on the accelerator pedal spring. Yamaha advises not to drive your golf car until the recall repairs have been completed.

Issue: On certain golf cars, an incorrect fuse for the USB accessory ports may have been installed. As a result, the USB voltage-reducer module could overheat and possibly cause a fire. Safety Risk: A fire could create the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Yamaha will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the fuse for the USB accessory ports. If incorrect, it will be replaced with the proper 1-A fuse. Note: Owners are advised to not use either USB accessory port until the recall repairs are completed.
