    Issue: On certain snowmobiles, the primary (drive) clutch could fail. If this happens, pieces of the clutch could separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: Clutch parts that separate from the snowmobile could hit a person and create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Yamaha will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your snowmobile to a dealership to install additional shielding around the primary clutch and the toe guard.

    490 units affected

    Issue: On certain snowmobiles, the snap ring that attaches the fuel dampener to the fuel rail could come loose and fall out. If this happens, fuel could leak from the fuel rail. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Yamaha will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. To reduce the safety risk, Yamaha advises that you shouldn't use your snowmobile until the recall repairs have been completed.
