On certain motorcycles, the shift cam segment stopper on the transmission may not have been manufactured properly. This could cause the stopper to crack and break overtime which could result in a missed shift or engagement of a different gear than intended. This could increase the risk of a crash resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the shift shaft assembly with an updated version.
