    826 units affected

On certain motorcycles, the headlight lead wire can be stretched when handlebars are turned fully to the left or right. This could result in a loss of headlamp illumination by the headlight coupler disconnecting from the headlight bulb, or the headlight lead wire breaking near the coupler. Loss of headlamp illumination, should it occur during a rainy day, or during hours of darkness, could compromise the rider's ability to see the road and its users, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will add a headlight bulb sub-lead harness to provide proper lead wire length.
