On certain motorcycles equipped with an aftermarket clip-on handlebar adapter plate, the adapter plate riser may crack and fail. This could result in a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Owners should stop using the recalled parts immediately. Correction: Owners are advised to contact Woodcraft at (978) 297-2977 or email <a href="mailto:info@woodcraft-cfm.com">info@woodcraft-cfm.com</a> for a replacement main center section of the clip-on adapter plate assembly.<br><br> This recall affects the following clip-on adapter plate part numbers, which were sold as accessories from 2015 to early 2017: 12-0407AP, 12-1407, 2012-2407, 12-1630, 12-1631, 12-2630, 12-2631.<br><br> This is a voluntary recall that is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act, as these aftermarket products were not regulated by the Act.

U.S. NHTSA recalls

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA (Yamaha) is recalling certain model year 2015 FZ07 motorcycles manufactured May 1, 2014, to September 30, 2014. In the affected motorcycles, the positive battery cable may be pinched between the seat base and seat bracket.
Risk: If the battery cable is pinched, it may chafe and short-circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Yamaha has notified owners, and dealers will replace the positive battery cable and seat bracket, free of charge. The recall began on October 31, 2014. Owners may contact Yamaha customer service at 1-800-962-7926. Yamaha's number for this recall is 990089.
