Issue: On certain scooters, the wrong front brake caliper may have been installed during production. As a result, the caliper may not work properly and could cause reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Yamaha will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your scooter to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the front brake caliper.
