Safety Risk: An electrical outlet that doesn't have ground-fault protection could create a risk of shock or electrocution. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to replace the non-GFCI outlet with one that has ground-fault protection.

Issue: The compliance and tire and loading information labels on certain RV trailers list incorrect information. The labels incorrectly list a rim size of 15x6, the tire size as ST205/75R15D and an axle capacity of 0 kg. The labels should instead list the rim size as 14X5.5, tire size as ST205/75R14D, and axle capacity as 1,588 kg (3,500 lb.). This information could lead you to overload the trailer, which could cause poor handling or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will mail corrected labels to each owner. Safety Risk: If a person touches a hot surface, there could be a risk of a burn injury. Corrective Actions: None of the motorhomes have been delivered to customers. Winnebago will assist Ford to notify dealers and ensure that all vehicles are inspected and repaired before sale.

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2022 Ekko, 2020-2022 Minnie Winnie, Spirit, 2020-2022 View, Navion, and 2020-2021 Vita, and Porto motorhomes. An incorrect hitch label was installed, which can lead to overloading of the vehicle.
Risk: An overloaded vehicle can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will install the correct labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were Mailed May 6/2024. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 177.
