Issue: On certain RV trailers, the cooktop burner could be affected by the operation of the furnace. This could cause the burner flame to invert. Safety Risk: An inverted burner flame could create the risk of a burn injury or cause a fire. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Winnebago recommends that the furnace and cooktop should not be used at the same time before the recall repairs have been completed. Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to install a panel between the cooktop and the furnace.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the fasteners that attach the solar panel may loosen. If this happens, the solar panel could separate from the vehicle while driving. Safety Risk: A solar panel that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Winnebago advises that you should inspect the solar panel fasteners before driving and periodically throughout your trip until the recall repairs have been completed. Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to apply thread-locking compound to the mounting screws and bracket.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the circuit board for the LED light rings on the cooktop knobs could fail. As a result, the wiring and/or LED lights could overheat and melt. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2024-050. Trailers that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair. This recall only affects RV trailers equipped with certain Suburban cooktops. Safety Risk: Wiring and/or lights that overheat and melt can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to disable or remove the LED light rings. To reduce the safety risk, Winnebago recommends that you should disconnect the power for your trailer when it's not used.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the spare tire carrier could break and separate from the trailer. Note: This is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2023-226. Safety Risk: A spare tire carrier that falls from the trailer could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the spare tire carrier with a newly designed part. Winnebago recommends that you should inspect the spare tire carrier to ensure that it's secure before driving. You should also check it periodically throughout your trip.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the quick disconnect fittings for the propane (LP) gas system may be defective. As a result, the fittings could crack and leak propane. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect the quick disconnect fittings on the propane system. The quick disconnect fitting(s) will be replaced, if required. The dealer will also perform a leak test.
