  Issue: On certain RV trailers, the interior cooktop burner could be affected by the operation of the furnace. This could cause the burner flame to invert. Safety Risk: An inverted burner flame could create the risk of a burn injury or cause a fire. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Winnebago recommends that the furnace and interior cooktop should not be used at the same time until the recall repairs have been completed. Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to seal any gaps that could allow return air from the furnace to cause an inverted flame on the cooktop.

  Issue: On certain RV trailers, the compliance label and tire and loading information label don't list the correct tire size. As a result, when the tires are replaced, the wrong tires could be installed. This could cause poor handling and/or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will mail a new compliance label and tire and loading information label to each owner. If you would like help to install the labels, you can contact a Winnebago dealership to have them installed free of charge.

This recall only affects RV trailers equipped with certain Suburban cooktops. Safety Risk: Wiring and/or lights that overheat and melt can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to disable or remove the LED light rings. To reduce the safety risk, Winnebago recommends that you should disconnect the power for your trailer when it's not used.

Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to apply thread-locking compound to the mounting screws and bracket. Winnebago recommends that you should inspect the solar panel fasteners before driving. You should also check them periodically throughout your trip.

Winnebago recommends that you should inspect the spare tire carrier to ensure that it's secure before driving. You should also check it periodically throughout your trip.

Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the coupler.

Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to install an escape window in the bedroom.

  On certain travel trailers a non-compliance exists whereby the affected trailers were produced with U.S. Tire Information and Cargo Capacity labels rather than the required Canadian formatted labels. The incorrect label may create confusion, possibly leading to the trailer being overloaded, which could affect vehicle handling and stability, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Winnebago will send revised certification labels to current dealers or owners with instructions for proper placement. If owners are not comfortable installing the labels themselves, they can take the label to a Winnebago dealer for installation.
