Issue: Certain motorhomes built on a Freightliner chassis could have a problem with the rear-mounted Power Distribution Module (PDM). This could cause the tail lights not to work properly. Note: This recall replaces FL-856 (Transport Canada recall 2020-323). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: Brake lights or turn signals that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

Issue: Certain motorhomes built on a Freightliner XBS chassis could have a problem with the rear-mounted Power Distribution Module (PDM). This could cause the tail lights not to work properly. Safety Risk: Brake lights or turn signals that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to a DTNA authorized service facility to inspect and repair the PDM as necessary.

This could cause the track bar, which maintains the position of the rear axle, to detach. Safety Risk: A track bar that detaches could affect vehicle handling and stability, increasing the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Daimler Trucks of North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to an authorized DTNA Service Facility to ensure the rear axle mounting bolts are properly tightened.
