Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. Winnebago recommends that you should inspect the awning to ensure it's in the fully retracted position before driving. You should also check it periodically throughout your trip.

Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the burner control valve for the interior cooktop could become damaged. If this happens, the valve could leak propane. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail and provide you with the steps to take to fix this problem. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. This recall only applies to cooktops with certain serial numbers, so the repairs will include an inspection of the serial number on the cooktop to determine if it needs to be replaced.

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Era, View and Navion recreational vehicles. The retractable awning may extend unintentionally during transit.
Risk: An awning extending unintentionally during transit may become a distraction or road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will install a parking brake interlock module, and update the awning firmware, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 2, 2024. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6936 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 179. This recall supersedes and expands NHTSA recall 22V-695.

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Winnebago View, Era, and Itasca Navion motorhomes. The retractable awning may extend unintentionally during transit.
Risk: An awning extending unintentionally during transit may become a distraction or road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will install a power switch and a relay to the BT12 module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 11, 2023. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. This recall is superseded by NHTSA recall 23V-694.
