02- Suspension#2016006
44 units affected
On certain trailers equipped with SAF-Holland CBX series suspensions, the suspension arm pivot bolts may break. This could affect axle alignment and potentially result in suspension failure, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace pivot bolts. Note: This is an expansion of recall 2014-316
- Brakes#2012158
6 units affected
On certain trailers equipped with Dexter axle electric/hydraulic (e/h) brake system, the actuator pumps may not have been properly heat treated during the manufacturing process and premature wear of critical components in these pumps could result in a loss of braking efficiency on the trailer. This could increase stopping distances, possibly resulting in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dexter axle dealers will replace the e/h brake actuator pumps.
