Certain travel trailers may be missing a wire clip that retains the gas lift roof struts to the mounting bracket. A missing clip could cause a roof lifting gas strut to detach from its mounting bracket, which would cause one or both sides of the rooftop to drop down without warning, increasing the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and install the missing wire clip as necessary.
