On certain motorcycles, the fuel pump body may have been incorrectly crimped during assembly. This could result in the fuel pump seizing due to insufficient clearance within the fuel pump, which could cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel pump.

On certain motorcycles, the crankcase may have been machined incorrectly which could cause insufficient crankshaft clearance and lead to rear wheel lockup due to the engine seizing. This could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect crankshaft endplay and install a spacer if necessary.
