01- Brakes#2020474
52 units affected
Issue: On certain GTS 300 models, the material of brake hose connections could cause a chemical reaction with the brake fluid. This could result in an increase in travel from the front and/or rear brake levers, and cause reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Piaggio will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your scooter to a dealer to inspect and test the brake system. If necessary, dealers will flush and replace the brake fluid, and/or replace the brake hoses.
