Issue: On certain motorcycles, the recall repairs completed by a Triumph dealer during recall SRAN 627 (Transport Canada recall no. 2024-618) may not be effective. As a result, a second repair may be required. On certain motorcycles, the wiring for the alternator may not be routed correctly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged by movement and heat and cause a short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Triumph will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the wiring for the alternator.

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the wiring for the alternator may not be routed correctly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged by movement and heat and cause a short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Triumph will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to install a wire alignment clip. If the wiring is damaged, it will be repaired or replaced.

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the left-front brake disc could loosen and detach from the wheel assembly. If this happens, the motorcycle may have reduced braking. Note: A loose brake disc may cause the front brake lever to pulse while braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause an increased stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Triumph will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to install a replacement damper between the wheel and the left-front brake disc. The dealer will also replace the brake disc bolts.

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the clutch cable may contact and damage the main wiring harness. This could lead to a loss of electrical power. This could cause the headlight or turn signals to malfunction, and/or cause the engine to turn off. Safety Risk: A loss of lighting or a sudden engine stall could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have the headstock tidy replaced with a new version.

Certain motorcycles equipped with heated grips may have an insufficient expansion gap when turned on. This could cause the right hand throttle grip to expand beyond the limits of the available gap and cause the throttle return spring to stop working properly. This would make it difficult to slow or stop the vehicle which would increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a spacer to provide a sufficient gap for the heated grip to expand when turned on.

On certain motorcycles, the wiring sealing material of the fuel pump mounting plate could become damaged. This could allow for fuel to escape from the fuel tank and travel along the wiring toward the sub harness to the main harness connector, possibly resulting in an electrical short. This could lead to a fire, which could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a revised wiring harness.

In certain adjustment levels, the brake lever blade may contact the handlebar grip, which would not allow for maximum brake performance. Correction: Triumph dealers will identify and contact affected owners and arrange for a replacement brake lever.
