Issue: On certain trailers equipped with a Dexter Smart-Steer 2.0 self-steering axle, the steer arm that attaches to the knuckle could break. If this happens, the steer arm could fall from the trailer. Safety Risk: Parts that fall from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Tremcar will notify owners by email and instruct you to make arrangements with a Dexter authorized service facility to replace the steer arms on your trailer.

Issue: On certain trailers, the washers used for mounting the brake actuators may break. This can allow the actuators to loosen and could cause reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Tremcar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to contact TSE Brakes to order a replacement brake actuator mounting washer and nut kit.
