Issue: On certain vehicles, the brake catch bracket can wear out. As a result, you may not be able to set the parking brake. If this happens, the vehicle could roll away. Note: This recall is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Safety Risk: A parked vehicle that moves unexpectedly could increase the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: You should stop using your vehicle until the recall repairs are completed. The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the parking brake catch bracket.

Issue: On certain low speed vehicles, the starter generator wire may not be properly secured. This could result in contact between the wire and the exhaust. If the exhaust is hot, it could melt the wire and cause a short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Owners should stop using their vehicle until the recall repairs are completed. The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, re-route the starter generator wire away from the exhaust.
