  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the wiring for the cooktop may not be grounded. Note: This recall only affects motorhomes equipped with a 240 V induction cooktop. Safety Risk: An ungrounded cooktop could create a risk of shock or electrocution. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to install a ground connection in the cooktop's metal junction box.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the nuts on the bus bar in the DC power distribution panel may not be tightened properly. As a result, the bus bar could overheat and melt other parts. Safety Risk: An overheated or melted electrical panel could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect and tighten the nuts on the DC power distribution panel. On motorhomes with the optional larger 2000 W inverter, the dealer will also remove the bus bar from the DC power distribution panel, and replace it with a cable.

  Issue: Certain motorhomes built on a Freightliner chassis could have a problem with the rear-mounted Power Distribution Module (PDM). This could cause the tail lights not to work properly. Note: This recall replaces FL-856 (Transport Canada recall 2020-421). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: Brake lights or turn signals that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to contact a Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) authorized service facility to schedule a repair. The service facility will install a new wiring harness bypass.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the tire valve stem extensions for the inner wheels may get damaged by contact with the outer wheels. If this happens, the inner tire could lose air pressure. This could overload the outer tire and cause it to fail. Note: This recall replaces FL-861 (Transport Canada recall 2020-516). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) authorized service facility to remove the inner valve stem extensions.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the seat belts on the sofas may not be properly installed. As a result, the seat belts may not work as designed in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat belt that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect and repair the seat belts on the sofas, as necessary.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the fuel rail assembly could develop a leak. Note: This recall only affects motorhomes equipped with a Cummins L9 diesel engine. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Cummins will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Cummins authorized service center to inspect the fuel rail. If damage is found, the fuel rail and fuel lines will be replaced. If no damage is found, the fuel rail will be reassembled with new crush washers using a special tool.

  This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2021-749. Issue: On certain motorhomes, the tire valve stem extensions for the inner wheels may get damaged by contact with the outer wheels. Owners will be instructed to take their motorhome to a dealer to inspect the wiring connections on the Energy Management Module. Any loose connections will be repaired as required.

This could cause a reduction in braking performance, and if warnings are ignored, could result in the sudden application of the parking brake. Correction: Cummins-authorized dealers will replace the existing high mount air compressor configuration with a new low mount air compressor configuration.

  On certain motorhomes, the frame rail extensions may not adequately support the trailer hitch mounting flange. Under certain loading or heavy braking conditions, the trailer hitch could detach, which would result in the separation of a towed vehicle or trailer, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, add a steel insert to increase the strength of the frame rail and strengthen the attachment of the hitch. Note: This recall supersedes recall 2017-166. Vehicles repaired under the previous recall will require re-inspection and possible additional repair.

  On certain motorhomes equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly.   Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Allegro and Allegro Breeze motorhomes. The buss bar may be improperly secured, which can cause electrical components in the DC Distribution Panel to overheat.

  Risk: Overheated electrical components can melt and increase the risk of a fire.

  Remedy: Dealers will replace the buss bar with a cable, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 18, 2022. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-0261. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-120.

• SEAT BELTS:REAR/OTHER:ANCHORAGE#21V680000November 5, 2021

  Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Allegro Breeze, Allegro Red, Allegro, Allegro Bus, Phaeton, and 2018-2021 Zephyr recreational vehicles. The sofa seat belts may not have been installed correctly, which could result in unsecured passengers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

  Risk: Unsecured passengers have an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.

  Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair the seat belts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 29, 2021. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-118.

  Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2009-2018 Allegro and Allegro RED, Bus and Phaeton vehicles, 2009-2010 Bay vehicles, 2011-2018 Breeze vehicles, and 2009-2015, and 2017-2018 Zephyr vehicles. These motorhomes are equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers that may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.   Risk: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
