    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the wiring for the cooktop may not be grounded. Note: This recall only affects motorhomes equipped with a 240 V induction cooktop. Safety Risk: An ungrounded cooktop could create a risk of shock or electrocution. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to install a ground connection in the cooktop's metal junction box.

  • Seats And Restraints#2021541

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the seat belts on the sofas may not be properly installed. As a result, the seat belts may not work as designed in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat belt that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect and repair the seat belts on the sofas, as necessary.

  • Fuel System#2021265

    103 units affected

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the fuel rail assembly could develop a leak. Note: This recall only affects motorhomes equipped with a Cummins L9 diesel engine. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Cummins will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Cummins authorized service center to inspect the fuel rail. If damage is found, the fuel rail and fuel lines will be replaced. If no damage is found, the fuel rail will be reassembled with new crush washers using a special tool.

  • Electrical#2019155

    53 units affected

    Issue: Loose connections on the Energy Management Module could cause the wiring to overheat. This module is located in the rear of the motorhome. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their motorhome to a dealer to inspect the wiring connections on the Energy Management Module. Any loose connections will be repaired as required.

  • Structure#2018280

    On certain motorhomes, the latch on the entry door may not engage properly. This could allow the door to open unexpectedly when the vehicle is in transit, which could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will adjust the entry door to ensure that the latch engages properly.

  • Accessories#2018046

    1,653 units affected

    On certain motorhomes equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly.   • EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:OVEN/STOVE/COOKTOP#23V643000

    Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2016-2024 Allegro Bus, and 2017-2024 Zephyr motorhomes. The 240-Volt induction cooktop may not be grounded, which can create an electrical shock hazard if the wires short-circuit.

    Risk: An electrical shock can increase the risk of injury.

    Remedy: Dealers will install a ground for the metal junction box, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 20, 2023. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-133.

  • SEAT BELTS:REAR/OTHER:ANCHORAGE#21V680000

    Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Allegro Breeze, Allegro Red, Allegro, Allegro Bus, Phaeton, and 2018-2021 Zephyr recreational vehicles. The sofa seat belts may not have been installed correctly, which could result in unsecured passengers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

    Risk: Unsecured passengers have an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair the seat belts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 29, 2021. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-118.
