Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the patio awning may not be properly installed. As a result, the awning could detach and fall from the motorhome. Safety Risk: An awning that falls from the motorhome could create a risk of injury. An awning that falls from a moving vehicle could create road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to properly attach the awning to the motorhome.

U.S. NHTSA recalls
01- STRUCTURE#21V756000
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Venetian motorhomes. The patio awning may have been improperly installed, allowing it to separate.
Risk: An awning that separates while the vehicle is in motion can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will secure the awning, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 24, 2021. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000244.
