Issue: On certain motorhomes, the solar panel mounting brackets could loosen or break. If this happens, the solar panel could separate from the vehicle while driving. Safety Risk: A solar panel that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the solar panel mounting brackets.

Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, a 50 A circuit breaker may have been installed on the power sofa circuit instead of a 20 A circuit breaker. As a result, the wiring could overheat and melt before the circuit breaker trips. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats or melts could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect the breaker. If a 50 A circuit breaker was installed, it will be replaced with a 20 A circuit breaker.

Issue: On certain motorhomes, plastic parts on the rear bike rack could break. If this happens, the bike rack arms could separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: A bike rack that detaches from a vehicle could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the affected bike rack parts.

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the quick disconnect fittings for the propane (LP) gas system may be defective. As a result, the fittings could crack and leak propane. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the quick disconnect fittings on the propane system and perform a leak test.
