Issue: On certain motorhomes, the exterior compartment doors might not be properly attached. As a result, the outer panels of the compartment doors could detach from the motorhome. Safety Risk: A door panel that detaches from the motorhome could create a hazard for other drivers and nearby people. Corrective Actions: Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for inspecting, and if necessary, replacing the exterior compartment door panels.

  • Accessories#2018630

    73 units affected

On certain motorhomes, the motorized windshield shade on the driver's side could lower itself without warning while the vehicle is in motion. This could obstruct the driver's view, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will repair the motorized windshield shade.

  • Accessories#2017613

    6,579 units affected

On certain motorhomes equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. • Structure#2017037

    5 units affected

On certain motorhomes, the hinge assemblies of the rear cargo door may have been manufactured incorrectly. The weld on the hinge assembly had been ground down during manufacturing to ensure clearance when installed on a door. The grinding of the weld weakened the joint and, as a result, if the door were to be opened and the hinge assembly were to fail, the door could come down with more force than normal, increasing the risk of injury to a person standing nearby. Correction: Dealers will inspect the hinge assembly and replace as necessary.
