    5 units affected

Issue: On a small number of aerial devices, the turntable bolts may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the bolts could loosen and fail. If this happens, the boom could fall. Safety Risk: A boom that falls could create a risk of injury for the operator and people nearby. Corrective Actions: Terex will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the turntable bolts. Terex advises you to perform a daily inspection of the bolts and not to use the aerial device if the bolts are loose.

  • Other#2022176

    5 units affected

Issue: On certain truck-mounted aerial devices with dual baskets, the emergency stop for the upper control stations may not stop all boom movements. Safety Risk: A boom that continues to move after the operator actives the emergency stop could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Terex will notify owners by mail and provide you with new emergency stop placards and installation instructions. The new placard will direct you to use the engine stop/start controls as the emergency stop. If the unit isn't already equipped with engine stop/start controls at both control stations, Terex will provide you with directions for how to add the required components. If you have questions about repairing your unit, you should contact your local Terex Utilities dealer.
