    Issue: Tires manufactured by Centre Techno Pneu Inc. do not meet the requirements of Canadian regulations. Note: This recall only applies to tires sold outside the province of Quebec. Tires manufactured in Canada must meet all Canadian regulations if they are sold or shipped outside their province of manufacture. Safety Risk: Tires that do not meet Canadian regulations may be unsafe for use. Corrective Actions: Owners of tires affected by this recall are advised to contact the company at 1-800-463-0747.

    Certain tires do not comply with the performance requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 139 — New Radial Ply Tires for Motor Vehicles with a GVWR of 4 536 kg or less. A tire failure could cause a loss of vehicle control and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: The company will inspect and replace non-compliant tires with those meeting all performance requirements
