On certain motorcycles, the accessory backrest mount hardware kits may have contained bolts that were only to be used when mounting the kit with a backrest and saddlebag supports. This could cause the mounting bolts to stick out past the inside part of the rear fender which may, under certain conditions, come in contact with the rear tire causing a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the accessory backrest mounting hardware kit bolts with the correct length bolts.

Certain motorcycles fail to conform to the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 120 – Tire Selection and Rims. Due to a typographical error, the size of the front tire, as indicated on the compliance label, is incorrectly identified as 130/70-18M/C63V instead of 130/70R18M/C63V. Correction: Dealers will replace the compliance label.
