On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. Note: For more information about recalled fire extinguishers, please visit www.kidde.com.”

On certain travel trailers, the furnace may not be properly secured to the floor. If the furnace were to move excessively and pull loose from the exhaust, it could allow hazardous fumes to escape into the trailer which could result in a risk of asphyxiation or fire, possibly resulting in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect the securing bracket of the furnace and will ensure it is secured with the correct bracket and screws if it is found to be incorrect.

On certain travel trailers, the Certification label, Tire and Loading Information label and CSA data card do not contain correct tire pressure information. The labels incorrectly indicate the tires be inflated to a pressure of 60 psi, but instead should read 50 psi. Improper tire pressure can lead to tire failure which, in turn, can result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to dealers or to owners of affected vehicles, along with instructions for proper installation.
