9 units affected
Issue: The compliance label on certain trailers lists incorrect information. The label incorrectly list the tire pressure as 110 psi. The label should instead list the tire pressure as 80 psi. This information could lead you to overinflate the tires. Safety Risk: Using a trailer with tires that are overinflated could cause poor towing/driving performance or a tire failure. Corrective Actions: The company will mail a new compliance label to each owner. If you would like help to install the label, you can contact an SMC Trailers dealer for assistance.
- Structure#2019184

Issue: The step hinges may not be properly welded and could separate from the trailer. Safety Risk: The step could break off when being used, increasing the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the step hinge welds and add rivets.
