Issue: On certain electric kickscooters, a part within the front fork may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the fork stem could fail. If this happens, there could be a loss of control and/or you could fall from the scooter. Note: This recall affects certain scooters marked with the manufacturing date code 2308, 2310 or 2311. Safety Risk: A loss of control could create the risk of injury and/or a crash. Corrective Actions: Segway advises not to ride your scooter until the recall repairs have been completed. Segway will notify registered owners by email and advise you to take your scooter to a dealership to repair the front fork. Alternatively, Segway will provide you with a pre-paid shipping label, for you to ship your scooter to a service center for repair.
