Issue: Under certain conditions, the scooter could fold while in use. If this happens, there could be a loss of control and/or you could fall from the scooter. Note: As these scooters aren't included in a prescribed class of vehicle, this action is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Safety Risk: A loss of control could create the risk of a fall and/or injury. Corrective Actions: Segway advises that you should inspect and, as necessary, tighten the folding mechanism before riding your scooter.
