6,194 units affected

On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. Note: For more information about recalled fire extinguishers, please visit www.kidde.com.

  • Other#2013441

    3,980 units affected

On certain travel trailers, some deadbolt locks could fail and lock the interior handle, preventing a person located inside the travel trailer from being able to exit when the door is locked. This could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will replace affected deadbolt locks.

  • Other#2013225

    1,753 units affected

On certain travel trailers, the fresh water tank mounting system may fail. This could allow the tank to separate from the trailer and strike another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install a cross brace between the fresh water tank mounting brackets.

  • Electrical#2011267

    5 units affected

On certain travel trailers, the voltage converter in the vehicle's load center and distribution panel enclosure may have been incorrectly wired, which could result in the converter and other objects being electrically energized. This could cause a risk of electrocution, which may result in personal injury of death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, correct the voltage converter wiring.

  • Accessories#2010414

    6 units affected

On certain travel trailers, the Atwood 35-series range oven, model number beginning with RV1735, RV2135, RA1735, or RA2135, may develop a small crack within the line delivering gas to the oven cavity burner. A propane leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire and/or explosion, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the oven supply tube.

  • Label#2009267

    51 units affected

Certain travel trailers fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 110 - Tire Selection and Rims. The Tire & Loading Information label was inadvertently printed with incorrect information. The weight listed for cargo exceeds the actual cargo carrying capacity of the trailer. The weights were calculated without factoring in the unloaded weights of the vehicle. This incorrect information could lead to an overloading situation that could cause or contribute to the failure of frame components; possibly resulting in a sudden tire blowout or other failure which could result in a loss of control and a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners along with instructions for proper installation.
