Safety Risk: Driving a vehicle with brakes that are worn out could increase the risk of a crash. As a result, the transmission could be in a different gear than the gear shifter indicates. If a driver attempts to exit the vehicle while the transmission is not in Park, and the parking brake is not applied, the vehicle could move suddenly. Safety Risk: Sudden and unexpected movement of the vehicle could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the shifter cable bushing. Owners are reminded to use the parking brake anytime the vehicle is parked.

  On certain vehicles, if the front seats are adjusted towards an extreme position, it is possible that the function of the locking mechanism of the seatbelt mount would no longer be guaranteed. The seatbelt mount could detach from the anchoring system when the seatbelt is fastened or opened. This situation, in the event of a crash, could result in personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install an additional locking element on the seatbelt anchoring system.
