02- Brakes#2019627
9 units affected
Issue: On certain side-by-side UTVs, the rear brake line may be routed incorrectly. As a result, the brake line could be damaged by contact with surrounding components. This could cause a brake fluid leak and result in reduced brake performance. Safety Risk: Reduced brake performance can cause increased stopping distances and create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Polaris will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the rear brake lines. They will be re-routed as necessary.
- Fuel System#2019516
3,334 units affected
Issue: On certain side-by-side UTV's, if a clutch belt breaks and frays, parts of the belt could potentially wrap around secondary clutch and damage the fuel line. This could cause a fuel leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire. Corrective Actions: Polaris will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to add a flange to the outlet duct retainer to protect the fuel line.
