Transport Canada recalls
02- Powertrain#2021331
992 units affected
Issue: On certain ATVs, the throttle lever stop could break. If this happens, the throttle could stick in the open position. Note: This replaces recalls A-18-06 and A-20-01 (Transport Canada recalls 2018-194 and 2020-169). ATVs that were repaired under either recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: If the throttle sticks in the open position, an operator may be unable to slow or control the speed of the ATV. This could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Polaris advises that you should stop using your ATV immediately. The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your ATV to a dealer to replace the throttle speed control bracket.

This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2021-331. On certain ATVs, the throttle stop lever may have been damaged during shipping. This may prevent the throttle from returning to its home position, or it may render the speed-limiting feature inoperative, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Polaris will send instructions to owners advising to inspect the area around the throttle. If there are any signs of damage found, dealers will repair as necessary.
