  • Steering#2022381

    2,521 units affected

    Issue: On certain side-by-side UTVs, the steering wheel may have been damaged during shipping to the dealership. As a result, the steering wheel spokes could break while driving. If this happens, the steering wheel could separate and cause a loss of steering control. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall 2021-662. Vehicles that had the steering wheel replaced under the previous recall do not require this repair. Safety Risk: A loss of steering could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Polaris recommends that you should not drive your vehicle until this recall is completed. Polaris will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the steering wheel.

    This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2022-381. Issue: On certain side-by-side UTVs, the steering wheel may have been damaged during shipping to the dealership. As a result, the steering wheel spokes could break while driving. If this happens, the steering wheel could separate and cause a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Polaris recommends that you should not drive your vehicle until this recall is completed. Polaris will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

  • Brakes#2021322

    129 units affected

    Issue: On certain side-by-side UTV's, the brake pedal brackets were not properly welded. As a result, the brake pedal could detach and cause a loss of brakes. Safety Risk: A loss of braking can increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Polaris will notify owners by mail to bring your UTV to a dealer to inspect the brake pedal brackets for incorrect welds. If incorrect welds are found, the brackets will be replaced. To reduce the safety risk, Polaris recommends that you should not drive your UTV until this recall is completed.
