    Issue: On certain electric trucks, a problem with a wiring harness connector could cause a sudden loss of power to the wheels. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2025-151. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: PACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the wiring harness.

    Issue: On a small number of trucks, the driveshaft could break while driving and cause a sudden loss of power to the wheels. The driveshaft could also separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a driveshaft that separates from a vehicle could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: PACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the driveshaft.

  • ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM#25V182000

    PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2021-2026 Peterbilt 220, 2022-2026 Kenworth K370, and 2020-2026 K270 Medium-Duty Battery Electric Vehicles. The cradle harness may have a loose electrical connection that can cause a loss of drive power.

    Risk: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the cradle harness as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed September 8, 2025. Owners may contact Peterbilt's customer service at 1-940-591-4220 and Kenworth's customer service at 1-425-828-5888. PACCAR's numbers for this recall are 25KWD and 25PBD.

  • POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:DRIVESHAFT#23V616000

    PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2023 Kenworth K270, K370, and Peterbilt 220 trucks. The driveshafts can break under certain loading conditions.

    Risk: A broken driveshaft can separate and cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the driveshafts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 16, 2023. Owners may contact Kenworth's customer service at 1-425-828-5888 and Peterbilt's customer service at 1-940-591-4220. PACCAR's numbers for this recall are 23KWG and 23PBG.

  • ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECU/ECM)#22V631000

    PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2023 Peterbilt 220, 389, 520, 536, 537, 348, 367, 567, 548, 579, and 2023 Kenworth T680, K270, T440, T880, W990, K370, T280, T380, T480, T800, and W900 vehicles. The engine control module (ECM) may experience an internal electrical short-circuit, causing the engine to stall.

    Risk: An unexpected engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the ECM, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 16, 2022. Owners may contact Kenworth's customer service at 1-425-828-5888 and Peterbilt's customer service at 1-940-591-4220. PACCAR's number for this recall is 22KWG and 22PBG.
