On certain tires, a separation may develop between the tread belts. This could cause vibration and irregular tire wear in the early stages of separation. If unaddressed, this condition could contribute to a tread/belt separation and/or rapid loss of inflation pressure which may increase the risk of tire failure and a vehicle crash. Correction: Dealers will replace affected tires.
