  • Visual System#2023560

    6 units affected

Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the spline teeth in the windshield wiper arm(s) could wear and break. If this happens, the windshield wipers may not work properly. Safety Risk: Windshield wipers that don't work could affect a driver's visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Newmar will notify the owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) authorized service facility to inspect and, if necessary, replace the windshield wiper arm(s).

  • Label#2022571

    13 units affected

Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the compliance label lists the incorrect rear tire size. As a result, when the tires are replaced, the wrong tires could be installed. This could lead to poor handling and/or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Newmar will mail a new compliance label to each owner. If you would like help to install it, you can contact an authorized Newmar service facility to have it installed, free of charge.

  • Accessories#2022550

    64 units affected

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the service valve (main shutoff) for the propane tank may be defective. As a result, the connector may not seal properly and could leak propane. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: Newmar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to perform a leak test and inspect the date code on the service valve. It will be replaced, if necessary. Newmar recommends that you should shut off the service valve (main shutoff) on the propane tank until your motorhome is inspected.

  • Wheels#2022035

    11 units affected

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the tire valve stem extensions for the inner wheels may get damaged by contact with the outer wheels. If this happens, the inner tire could lose air pressure. This could overload the outer tire and cause it to fail. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Newmar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect the valve stem extensions on the inner wheels, and replace them if required. The dealer will also install a valve stem extension grommet/stabilizer to prevent it from contacting the outer wheel rim.
