    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the hood stops may not have been secured properly. As a result, the hood stops could detach and separate from the vehicle while driving. Safety Risk: A hood stop that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Newmar will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and install fasteners to secure the hood stop brackets.

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the seat belt anchor bracket for the dinette seats may not be strong enough. As a result, the seat belt could loosen or detach in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat belt that detaches in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Newmar will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to an authorized service facility to replace the seat belt bracket for the dinette seats, and install additional fasteners. Newmar recommends not to use the dinette seats during transit until the recall repairs are completed.

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the nuts that attach the rear stabilizer bar bracket(s) could loosen and the attachment bolts and bracket could break. If this happens, the bolts and bracket could detach and separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: Parts that detach from the motorhome could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Newmar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Ford dealership to inspect, and replace or repair the rear stabilizer attachment bolts and brackets as necessary.

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the service valve (main shutoff) for the propane tank may be defective. As a result, the connector may not seal properly and could leak propane. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: Newmar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to perform a leak test and inspect the date code on the service valve. It will be replaced, if necessary. Newmar recommends that you should shut off the service valve (main shutoff) on the propane tank until your motorhome is inspected.

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the wiring under the front seats may not be properly secured. As a result, the wiring could be damaged when the seat is moved. If this happens, the wiring could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Newmar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your motorhome to a dealership to inspect the wiring under the front seats. The wiring will be protected and secured, as required. The dealer will also make changes to the circuit protection.

    Issue: On certain motorhomes equipped with frameless windows, the adhesive that attaches the vented portion of the windows may fail. If this happens, the glass could separate and fall from the motorhome. Safety Risk: A window that detaches from the motorhome could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Newmar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your motorhome to an authorized dealer or service center to inspect and replace the vent window glass, as required.
